Facial Aesthetic Anatomy: Anti-aging in the medical community refers exclusively to slowing, preventing, or reversing the aging process. These includes investigations for early detection, prevention, and treatments of age-related diseases. While the future sounds very promising, there are presently weak proven and available medical technologies that obviously slow or reverse aging process in humans. People seek for an instant miracle of treatment. Facial appearance mainly influences social reaction to individual. Facial aesthetic procedures are popular for immediately rejuvenation and contouring facial appearance. To optimize results of treatments and to avoid serious complications, knowledge of relevant facial anatomy is the key factor for successful facial rejuvenation. Facial fat atrophy, bony regression, ligament laxity, muscle over-activity, and poor skin quality, these components of facial anatomy should be considered all together for planning an appropriate facial aesthetic procedure in each patient.
