Pigmentation

It is a condition which makes the skin darker and usually, it occurs on cheeks, forehead and nose. Sun exposure is one of the major causes for pigmentation. Apart from sun exposure, hormonal imbalance and certain medications can also lead to pigmentation. The condition which causes the skin darker is said to be hyperpigmentation. Common type of hyperpigmentation is age spots. Usually, hyperpigmentation is harmless. By the utilization of hydroquinone creams which are prescribed by doctors or retinol along with anti-inflammatory creams, the treatment of pigmentation will be done.
