Trichology and Hair Transplant

Good hair indicates good health; it is an extension of the skin. The quality of hair represents the physical health of a person. Trichology is the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and disorders of the human hair and scalp. Hair loss can lead to excessive suffering, and there are many misconceptions about its reasons and treatment. Certain types of hair loss can have natural or spontaneous recovery. Excessive hair loss can often be a symptom of another problem with the body's metabolism and for this reason communication between the patient's doctor and the trichologist is necessary. Trichology is the study of hair (and the scalp) and all hair related issues.
