Track 01: Dermatology

The study that involves the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases related to skin, hair and nails is said to be Dermatology. Cosmetic Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Medical Dermatology, Surgical Dermatology etc. are some of the specialty areas of the Dermatology. A medical expert who treats the diseases related to skin, nail and hair is said to be a Dermatologist. Most common conditions that are treated by the Dermatologist are skin cancer, dermatitis, hair loss and nail problems.

Track 02: Cosmetic Dermatology

It deals with the diagnosis and treatment of skin, nails and hair disorders. It is the combination of surgical and medical aspects. Pigmentation, cellulite, hair removal etc. are some of the common procedures done by the cosmetic dermatology. The appearance of premature aging, wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation, scars, skin texture, moles etc. can be enhanced by the procedure of cosmetic dermatology.

Track 03: Pediatric dermatology

Pediatric dermatologist treats and diagnosis the diseases related to skin, hair and nails in children, including infants and newborns. In children, skin changes are common. Birthmarks, atopic and contact dermatitis etc. are some of the common concerns in children. Atopic dermatitis incorporates a scope of skin conditions with side effects such as overflowing and scaling sin. Infantile dermatitis is the other name of atopic eczema in babies.

Track 04: Teledermatology

It is a subspecialty of dermatology. Store-and-forward and live interactive are the two main models of teledermatology. In order to exchange medical information over a distance via audio, visual and data communication, telecommunication technologies are utilized in the teledermatology. Store and forward (SAF) and real time/ live interactive teledermatology are the two concepts on which the teledermatology is practiced.

Track 05: Pigmentation

It is a condition which makes the skin darker and usually, it occurs on cheeks, forehead and nose. Sun exposure is one of the major causes for pigmentation. Apart from sun exposure, hormonal imbalance and certain medications can also lead to pigmentation. The condition which causes the skin darker is said to be hyperpigmentation. Common type of hyperpigmentation is age spots. Usually, hyperpigmentation is harmless. By the utilization of hydroquinone creams which are prescribed by doctors or retinol along with anti-inflammatory creams, the treatment of pigmentation will be done.

Track 06: Plastic and reconstructive surgery

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty that encompasses reconstruction surgery and cosmetic surgery. Craniofacial surgery, treatment of burns, hand surgery etc. are included in the reconstructive surgery, whereas cosmetic surgery enhances the appearance of it. Breast reconstruction, hand or foot surgery, regenerative medicine (replacing, regenerating human cells, tissues or organs), tissue expansion (it allows the body to grow extra skin), etc. are some of the most common types of reconstructive surgeries. Implant-based reconstruction and flap reconstruction are the two ways of breast reconstruction.

Track 07: Dermatological diseases

Common skin rashes to the severe skin infections are included in the dermatological diseases. Dermatitis is the foremost common skin disorder. Some the skin conditions that last a long time are seborrheic dermatitis, moles, melanoma and lupus etc. Acne, hives, warts and fungal nail infections etc. are some of the temporary conditions. Hemangiomas, measles, impetigo and dermatomyositis are some of the age-related conditions in children.

Track 08: Skin Infections and Skin Cancer

An abnormal growth of skin cells is said to be skin cancer. Usually, it develops in areas that are exposed to the sun. Basal cell carcinoma, melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma are the three major types of skin cancer. By avoiding exposure to ultraviolet radiation, risk of skin cancer can be minimized. Skin cancer develops primarily on face, chest, hands, lips etc. Usually, skin infections are caused by a wide variety of germs. Bacterial skin infections, viral skin infections, fungal skin infections and parasitic skin infections are the different types of skin infections.

Track 09: Dermatological Techniques

In order to test wide variety of diseases as well as minor dermatologic diseases or conditions in a rapid and non-invasive manner, various dermatologic techniques are done. Some normal dermatological techniques used to test for disease are biopsies, punching, and excisional biopsy; microbiological culture regularly called skin culture; Wood's lamp examination and skin allergy patch test. The results of these tests can be used to confirm or rule out a diagnosis, such as skin cancer or fungal skin infection. 

Track 10: Diet in Dermatology

Diet does impact the skin under certain conditions, but changing your diet is not always necessary to improve a certain symptom or disease. Among the biggest misconceptions related to diet and dermatology, there is an overemphasis on the role of food allergies in skin conditions. Although some food allergies can affect the skin, they play a limited role in general skin disease. A dermatologist can help patients with acne and rosacea determines if a food item in their diet might make it worse. Current dietary science attempts to bridge the gap between nutrition and ideal skin condition. Deficiency of vitamins, mainly lack of vitamin D, also plays a major role in dry skin and other skin conditions.

Track 11: Venereology

Disorders that can be transmitted via sexual contact is defined as venereology. The pharmaceutical industry is concerned with the examination and treatment of venereal diseases. Authority in these branches of pharmacy can perceive skin diseases and sexually transmitted diseases but changes in the skin or mucous films. Tests to conduct an assortment of tests are used in order to come to an exact conclusion. The basic skin problem includes dermatitis (aggravation), psoriasis (flaking) and contagious contaminations. He also manages skin sensitivities and knows the specific problems of the veins, for example varicose veins. Dermatology can use an assortment of techniques to treat skin and sexually transmitted diseases.

Track 12: Nanotechnology in Dermatology

Nanotechnology is a developing branch of engineering that involves the use of particles at the nanoscale (1 to 100 nm). Therefore, the application of nanotechnology in the field of dermatology is nanodermatology. Nanodermatology represents one of the most developing fields in which a growing interest is increasingly present among scientists as well as pharmaceutical companies. Nanotechnology has transformed the treatment of many skin diseases. It is very effective for the targeted delivery of active drugs and cosmetic ingredients. The skin is the first point of contact for a large number of nanomaterials. The application of nanomedicine in dermatology has opened a new era in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin disorders. Likely applications of nanotechnology in dermatology and cosmetics include anti-aging formulations, sunscreens, phototherapy, moisturizers, antisepsis, vaccines, skin cancer, hair and nail care, etc.

Track 13: Trichology and Hair Transplant

Good hair indicates good health; it is an extension of the skin. The quality of hair represents the physical health of a person. Trichology is the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and disorders of the human hair and scalp. Hair loss can lead to excessive suffering, and there are many misconceptions about its reasons and treatment. Certain types of hair loss can have natural or spontaneous recovery. Excessive hair loss can often be a symptom of another problem with the body's metabolism and for this reason communication between the patient's doctor and the trichologist is necessary. Trichology is the study of hair (and the scalp) and all hair related issues. A "trichologist" is one who specializes in hair loss issues such as baldness, breakage of hair, and itchy / flaky scalp.

Track 14: Further Approaches in Dermatology

Dermatology is a branch of medicine which analyzes and treats skin and nail infections, such as contagious nail treatment, facial surgeries, laser drugs, etc. Skin regeneration and re-emergence is another drift procedure done with lasers. Photo-rejuvenating drugs universally expanded up to 36% from the previous year's measurements.

Track 15: Current Research in Dermatology and Cosmetology

The skin is a vital organ which lends itself to clinical study because it is visible and accessible, subsequently quite easy to try and take samples. The focus of the research should be to develop a new level of understanding in this very important area of ​​health science that will allow us to use the most recent findings on the manifestations and causes of dermatological diseases and cosmetics. Track 16: Dermatopathology

Dermatopathology is a combined subspecialty of dermatology and pathology and at a reduced scope of surgical pathology which focuses on the study of skin diseases at the microscopic and molecular level. It also incorporates investigations into the potential reasons for skin diseases at a basic level. Dermatopathologists work in association with clinical dermatologists. Cases of dermatopathology can include melanoma and other skin disorders; immunological, infectious and pediatric diseases. A dermatopathologist is a qualified physician who specializes in identifying skin disorders under a microscope.

Track 17: Surgical and Non- Surgical Aesthetic Treatment

Surgical procedures are perfect for men and women who need a big and drastic change in their appearance or who have more significant signs of aging over a large area. Non-surgical procedures are non-invasive or, in rare cases, minimally invasive procedures. These treatments do not require surgical incisions or general anesthesia. Non-surgical procedures very popular among patients now include soft tissue fillers for wrinkles, laser hair removal and to add volume to lips and cheeks, as well as chemical peels and microdermabrasion to improve the surface of the skin and eliminate wrinkles, scars and discoloration.

Track 18: Entrepreneurs Investment meeting

One phase wanted to involve entrepreneurs, proposers and investors from all over the world. It is used to create and energize the most streamlined, sane meeting place to engage people in overall business discussions, evaluation and execution of promising business thoughts. A budget expert can find the most surprising potential wandering openings, which yield an extraordinary quantifiable benefit. For business visionaries, this would be a great place to find suitable theorists and props to start or possibly expand their business. Track 19: Immunodermatology

Immunodermatology studies the skin as an organ of immunity in health and disease. Many areas are the subject of particular attention, like photoimmunology, inflammatory diseases like hidradenitis suppurativa, allergic contact dermatitis and atopic eczema, presumably autoimmune skin diseases like vitiligo and psoriasis, and finally the immunology of microbial skin diseases like retrovirus infections and leprosy. New therapies in development for the immunomodulation of common immunologic skin diseases include biologics aimed at neutralizing TNF-alfa receptor and chemokine inhibitors.

The market for dermatological devices is growing rapidly due to the growing aesthetic awareness. In the current scenario, people of all age groups are increasingly concerned about improving their appearance. Treatments such as complete skin rejuvenation are particularly gaining popularity. There has been a latent shift from using conventional products to state-of-the-art equipment, which facilitates the diagnosis and treatment of various skin diseases and improves aesthetics. The introduction of technologically advanced non-invasive laser therapies has led to a strong demand for dermatological devices. In addition, the introduction of advanced dermatological equipment to remove age spots or dark marks is expected to boost product demand during the forecast period. Procedures such as microdermabrasion are used to renew the overall skin tone, as well as to reduce scars, wrinkles, and other skin conditions.

The growing awareness of these procedures is expected to stimulate the demand for dermatological procedures, leading to a subsequent increase in the demand for dermatological equipment. Processing devices held the largest market share in 2019 and are also expected to register the highest CAGR during the forecast period. This is mainly due to the availability of wide dermatological treatment applications. In addition, the launch of new technologies in the laser device category is driving the growth of the segment. The low market share of diagnostic devices can be attributed to a low level of knowledge of the various new instruments available. 

However, the increasing prevalence of skin cancer is expected to drive the growth of this segment over the forecast period due to the availability of dermatology services that help detect cancer at an early stage. Among treatment devices, lasers accounted for the largest share in 2019 and are also expected to experience significant growth during the forecast period due to its wide adoption for several cosmetic procedures. Skin rejuvenation is expected to experience rapid growth during the forecast period.

This can be attributed to the increase in beauty awareness and the rapidly growing aging population across the world.  According to the WHO, the world population of people over 60 years old is expected to increase from nearly 962 million in 2017 to about 2.1 billion by 2050. This population is prone to sagging skin, fine lines, wrinkles, dry skin and other skin conditions, thus facilitating the demand for products. 

21^st World Dermatology Congress was organized during June 22-23, 2020 as an online event, Webinar.
